If this is Bruno the pix was taken when he was 3. Shepherds rarely get past 10 without their muzzles turning very grey

Happy Birthday. You look just like the German Shepard I had it. Unfortunately I lost him when he was 12-1/2. His birthday was on 8/30 and I still cry on this day more then usual.
And not gray hair on his muzzle, no cataracs either ?A beautiul dog,but if he’s 19 i’m 21!!! Don’t believe it

Looking pretty good for an old koot. All my old boys had white noses and beards by the time they were 13. By the way, dogs well loved and cared for can live longer then 10. I had a collie/sheperd mix that lasted to the ripe old age of 17. Happy B.day Bruno.

Mine is 10 years old. and has gray on his muzzle Ihope Kiowa lives many more healthy years . I lost my dog i had before this one lived to be 10 years old . He was part Syberian and Germanshepherd Tacoma was a puppy when I got him he was born 1999 lived til 2009 we had a great life together. I got Kiowa when he was about 2yrs old in 2010 but we’ve been together for over 8 great years and Im hoping for several more years with him.

My Shepherd was Very Well cared for & had to be put down for back problems at 10years. It just about killed us. She was from Germany & her father was a Texas Ranger & was owned by a Ranger & Vet.
