They were chasing the Dog.
While living in Tx we were 2 miles out of town in an acreage subdivision. Our Cat/Herman was strictly indoor cat. Living between fields and canyons there were lots of mice. We came home one day and he had 3 lined up by the back door…he knew we came in that way…we slowly put steel wool and other mice blockers thru the house and garage. The Vet said he was presenting them as a gift to us. I believed that notion until he brought one up on the bed at 3am and dropped it right on top of me. I had an 16 incision and brace on my leg so I couldn’t get up fast and was on crutches. I grabbed the mouse bare handed and threw it hard into the wall. Thank God it was stunned and we caught it. Poor Herman was confused….he didn’t know why we didn’t want his gift. Lol

I had a cat one time well actually it was my little daughter’s cat, that would bring stuff all the time. one day I went to wash dishes I had run my dishwater and I had gathered up the dishes and was getting ready to put them in the sink when I saw something in my water and I looked down and there was a dead crow so the cat had brought a crow in and put it in the dishwater , I guess she figured it needed to be washed . I think that was the worst.
