It was done for my father, too, at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, VA. I was so thankful.

That is one smart hospital. Elderly people need all the comfort they can get and being able to see their eyes is beyond helpful it is shared loved between animal’s and their families nothing better to make a person want to go on and get better,because once again they know they are loved,a d that especially for the elderly is the best medicine of all

I think all hospitals , retirement homes and nursing homes should allow this it just helps bring a persons spirit up and makes the day better.

I have mixed emotions about it because I love dogs. Nothing better than to have your pet by your side. I’m sure some would disagree because of sanitary reasons.
