Some of my fondest memories are from trips we have taken with you. Certainly Petra is way up there on the list.
I’ve visited Petra, It was an amazing place!
Been there 4 times now and it is just as stunning each time. This is the treasury building and they have now found more rooms below the surface floor in front of the building. You can see where theyy have started digging in front of the building and it goes out to where the people are standing.
Wasn’t that in Transformers 2 also?
It’s beauty is ageless…if it can be saved from barbarians….
This is in constant repair as this is Gods house here on earth.

I love this place, been there. It is incredibly beautiful.
Visited there . It is amazing. Had to walk about a mile. They had buggies ride but we chose to walk.
I saw a documentary on this some years ago and was totally amazed.
I have been there and stood before this beautiful place.
It really is beautiful isn’t it? I had no idea it was that big. The humans look tiny.
What’s all the fuss who’s to read the writing on that wall ?
I always look at these places and am in awe of what it took to build them waaaaay back than.

and the rest of Petra is even more amazing Massive homes in multicolored stone, amphitheater other wall carvings. It’s so amazing
Named after this city, not quite as old.ha,ha.
This is breath taking when you see it you have to pinch yourself to see if your really there so beautiful we walked along ways to get there but it was worth it I would do it again

Been there during a military exercise in Jordan.
Very beautiful but the whole valley smells like donkey piss.
Such a shame you are no longer allowed to enter the building. So disappointed.
