Okay, so I have heard you guys. Everyone seems to tell me to make these episodes longer. Well, here ya go. An hour-long episode full of tons of info from Brian and some crazy mishaps all in the name of learning. If this one goes well then I’ll definitely consider making WBR episodes longer in the future. Hope you guys enjoy!
And help from Brian….
Stripped bolts come with the territory
Just be REALLY careful with the wd-40 because if it goes up to your disc brakes you won’t have brakes AT ALL
Watch out!!
What the electrical motor for, he is working on at 48 min’s? Is it like the motor for the cooling or something like that?
If that was a torx head bolt that you stripped. Iv done the exact same thing changing my stator cover. Them lil buggers are in there tight! I fell your pain. I was so angry at myself.
So, what is the difference between red and blue locktite?
you recorded the disassembly and forgot to review the footage? really Chase???????
lefty loosey, righty tighty. words to live by Chase
If I where you I would be hand on, If I have a professional person next to me, But that is my mentality not your’s… I though you where go gather type of guy. so sad you become comfortable FAST, Mr. Hoster.. Brian I would love to be your apprentice if we where living same state… and I would not be taking anything for granted.
What website did you use for the service manual
Great progress!! Really coming along 😎😎
Hey chase. I like your gloves man. Can you give me one of those? LOL
My rubbing alcohol is tequila. I drink the alcohol and rub myself.
here for the Yoda bike mechanic Brian the Bandit.
did Brian explain what Dielectric grease is, an how its different from regular grease?
Quick tip for Brian and you, if you don’t have the specific socket for spark plugs and you don’t have a magnet stick, use an old hose from your old coolant system for example. That way, you can take off the old spark plug but also screw the new one onto the engine 😉
Righty tighty lefty loosey, or clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen (standard threads facing away from you, opposite when facing toward you). It’s also easier if you hold tools by their handles giving you a mechanical advantage when loosening a tight bolt
guy has all the tools, a lot of money, cameras and shit, doesnt know how to take out a bolt from engine side cover…
So, just a question because I don’t get the why… Why is the side stand plugged in to the bike? Why does it have to? Since the side stand is basically operated manualy as far as I know ?
nut
How do you go about choosing who you sell the bike too?
You can tell it’s getting later and later because Chase is getting funnier and funnier
This was so funny
Shorter eps pleeaaasssseee 😢
i think you were just using the wrong ratchet , the flexible handle probably made you stick it in at an angle and stripped it
redeemed with the grinder idea great episode man
Dude…. rubber hose over the spark plug trick… complete life saver. I can’t believe Brain didn’t think of it.
i think that’s the most annoying think when you work on bike when you dont know what is the right way to unscrew a bolt LMAO
He had to edit out 15 min. of cursing
holy crap this is long haha
(Thats what she said)
((not to me))
How exciting loving it mate must be good feeling done awsome👍😊
Chase, you need to buy a Milwaukee M12 Ratchet. It definitely speeds up most jobs. Btw, thank God you got Brian to help you this season.
ALSO TURN IT THE RIGHT WAY LOL
27:37
What a dick the person is that took those with them…
You can use the coil pack to remove the spark plug if you just use a standard socket to loosen 23:10
Hey Chase, great video with lots of details. One thing to remember when working with bolts – righty tighty lefty loosey.
LOL I was cringing the whole time he was going the wrong way. At least you’re learning!
Un tio que está reconstruyendo una moto y no sabe para que lado se afloja un tornillo, todo correcto.
That just hurt to watch….I cringed watching Chase tighten that little bolt to the point of stripping it.
Awesome seeing you learn this. It’s like getting an apprenticeship program from this channel. Good for you. Loving the work you’re doing
Brian would probably torque the lid when closing a bottle of coka cola
Red loctite 🙃🔫
Awesome video! Big fan of these series. Is that wd-40 degreaser good for the chain? I mean is it good for O-rings?
Some ice big Triumph boxes, where’s the vid on those💚😍💚#TriumphLove
Chase it not the end of the world. It’s a bolt , no worries bro.
Quit using that DAMN swivel head ratchet! You have a loose dangling part, a small tight bolt and the thing is flopping around. You need as much stability as possible so use a fixed handle ratchet. Other than that, GOOD JOB!
I want to become a Patreon supporter, is there a certain level I need to be entered to win/buy the bike?
Next season: chase buys a new bike and works on it, lets Brian fix everything he jacked up. 👍🏻
How the hell dont you know what the unscrew direction is by now??
