Yes, But has to be calves liver. Soak it in milk first to get the nastiness out of it Drain out the milk, and dust with flour. Fry with the onions. I love mine with lots of black pepper.

Like NO! It’s organ meat, think about what the liver does. It cleans the body of all kinds of bad stuff !! There is no way I’m eating that, not kidneys either, yuck, yuck, yuck 🤮

Yes for sure but only if I can get them from one place and one place only. I’ve been challenged before on that place and the others don’t even come close. I’ll bet my last dollar that people that say they don’t like Liver and Onions would like these if they had them. I’ve tried to cook them myself and had to throw them out… Now thinking about it I realize I haven’t gone in a while because the restaurant is 50 miles away. I guess it’s time for a trip. May very well be the best Liver and Onions on the planet !!!!

I’ve said it before, eating liver is like eating the dirty “oil filter” off a car. The liver filters all the toxins in the blood with a “catch and hold” operation, thus not an appealing option to me. Different of course if you’re starving, other than that, nope!

When I was a kid I hated liver and onions. It wasn’t until 7 years ago that I had liver and onions properly prepped and cooked by Chef Doreen, she also makes a pate that is to die for.

My mother use to fix the best when I was a whole lot younger. Don’t trust the quality of today’s beef.

Projectile vomit, anything that disgusting and that requires mega amounts of onions and gravy to drown out the flavor should not be eaten, organ meat is horrible for you

Oh, absolutely yes. The shame of it all is I can’t find any place that can make it like my mom use to make it. And some places don’t even serve it any more.

My absolute favorite! When I used to make tacos for the family, I always made myself pan fried liver (on the rare side) & onions!

    My mother would cook it
Perfectly with some bacon. She would sauté The onions in butter then add to the liver. Served with Mashed potatoes and a green.

Not anymore! When I was a kid I loved it and needed it for the iron, but then I learned the function of the liver is to filter toxins from the body, so no never again!

Also great with the milk and then turn around and the last one for a little bit of salt in the water and soak it again for a while but when you put the flower on it put a little bit of Parmesan cheese
