This summer when it got so hot in Missouri, one woman started putting bowls of ice out for the squirrels in her yard. This little guy was so grateful, he fell asleep cooling off on top of one.

I have been putting out cold tap water in my bird bath several times a day so the birds can get a cool drink after eating at the feeder. In Pa still pretty hot.
I don’t know that looks like there’s a top on that bowl I mean you’re going to put ice out for him leave the top off so it’ll melt and he can get a drink instead of die from thirst station
One morning I looked out and there was a squirrel sitting up with his haunches with his head bowed down. I thought he must have died sitting up. I tried to get closer but he woke up and left…
