Take out those apostrophes!!! Where did you go to school? And you need a comma after “today.” The whole silly thing should read: “If we had only stick-shift cars and trucks today, could you drive?”

Tried once. After stalling out for two green lights and a red one, with cars honking and my husband laughing and me getting mad cause he would not quit laughing? First time, last time and never again and that was 40 years ago. LOL

I learned to drive on Daddy’s truck. Gears were on the floor. I had to drive it to get crates of bottle Pepsi. My sister was lucky to learn on the car with automatic transmission.

In my day four on the floor did not just mean a double date at a drive in movie…you also used it if you had a Muncie gear box..

Inspire Uplift…if you are pluralizing words like car and truck, no apostrophe is required before the s. Dear Lord get it right nuh?

Yes. I drive a standard vehicle now, have been most of my life and probably will until I am old and can’t drive anymore or I die. Don’t like automatic.
