My favorite thing was playing in the barns, by the creeks catching crayfish, just being outdoors with no fear of the evil we’re aware of, these days. I do think most farm kids still enjoy all that acreage.
I remember when the swing seats in the parks were wood…instead of the hard rubber sling swings there are today…and the wood swing seats were more comfortable and you could stand on them and swing!!

The clothes they didn’t have clothes for the winter boots socks hats gloves like they did back in my day you could get frostbite really easy
