I think this should be the norm if pets are a big part of our lives
So very precious. It is sad that many dogs get euthanized when their best friend dies. The family doesn’t want them. It breaks my heart… We see adds on our local Web site all the time for dogs who’s owner has passed away. If they can’t find someone to take them, they just put them to sleep. It is very traumatizing to a dog when their owner dies.
I do think it is appropriate at times but hospitals also have to be careful there are many sick people with low ammune systems so you can’t just let every patient bring in there pet I am a nurse and do appreciate this under certain conditions
No animals carry strep and hook worms and ticks….absolutely not
Absolutely they are family
Absolutely our pets are the greatest comfort!!
That’s great dogs are part of the family sometime and you need them like they need you
Great picture and so true.
This is so beautiful to see yes hospital should allow animals patients love it and looks relaxed
Yes it helps a person who has pets
I think a pets only who in this Earth can understand the feeling of human beings and I Love pets very much
I do commend this kind of therapy
Yes so people thats all they have
This is so peaceful and a healing in itself
I was in same spot, our local hospital allowed our new puppy.
Sure is a break from laying there.
It is wonderful to see this., I think all hospitals and other hospic programs should allow pets to visit their masters.
Yes it should be for any one sick that wants there dog vesta
I took scooter to see denny when he was sick!! Really helped him
I think they are good and right !
Definitely I took our dog up to see Desi during is last days
All hospitals should allow this. It’s just good medicine!
The best medicine is the unconditional love of an animal
Way back in the early 70’s a friend had a terrible abdominal infection do to a ruptured appendix. The doctor and hospital were so concerned about his survival they his young wife sleep with him.. Blessing, he survivrd.
When my mom was on hospice At Home..I took her dog for “emergency grooming” and wasn’t charged. Thanks pet smart henrietta
Yes, Love that picture and all that love between him and his dog.
Yes if that’s the only the man have of course he should have a private room ! Coz we have to be mindful of other patients.
It’s sad n touching, may his passing be eased n the anguish brief, since the essence is buoyed by the love that is shared, Amen.
Yes they should. The he’ll with rules and regulations
No I think it is the silly thing to do
I think it is great for patient and the animals. Such love
Yes, I think it was a good idea, I sure the he appreciated see his dog and the dog was glad to see him.
I like it. could help the owner tyo get better.
That’s the way it should be….animals are family they give us so much love as we do them in return…this is just what this man needs….his loved on at his side…..Besides which most hospitals have therapy dogs now…. god less him….xx……
