How many were killed during the US Civil War?! I have read that George Custer had 3 horses shot out from under him during that war. Many horses died during the ‘Indian Wars’! A few horses and mostly mules were used in WWII. How may of them died in the ‘service’ of their country?!
So many do not know about this my Father was horse Vet in France and never got over the cruelty to these Noble Creatures
They were soldiers, too. And gave all. But, never had the right to choose. 💔

That was supposed to have been the war to end all wars. Unfortunately never happened that way. The residuals of war are infinite. People, animals, nature, historical monuments, properties, cities, countries etc. Everything gets killed. And the stench goes on.

My great-uncle was one of these people that had the horses in the world war one he made it I don’t know about the horses
