All of you that say the boy has issues or need am ass whopping for doing this, how do you know her son really tore out pages of a book and that this just may be something put on here for you to use your brain to figure out
… As each page starts with 1 (odd number) then 7, 8 would be one page while 100 would be the ‘B’ side of 99 making two.. 101 being the ‘A’ side of 102 making three.. 222 being the ‘B’ side of 221 (four) and 223 being the ‘A’ side of 224 .. Five (D)..
I hope it wasn’t a really good book cause the little shit just destroyed your book. I hope his punishment fit his crime. Who knows what he’ll become if you don’t nip this behavior now.
Each page has a front and back, odd numbered pages on the front even on the back.
7-8 is page 1
99-100 page 2
101-102 page 3
221-222 page 4
223-224 page 5
5 pages
Actually he tore out
7
8
99
100
101
102
221
222
223
and 224
That’s assuming that page 1 is on the right and the printing is on both sides of the paper.
In other words, we can make assumptions, based on what we perceive as normal, but there really is not enough information provided to come up with a definitive answer.
Who cares? One is too many! Sounds like your son needs his ass busted.
I’m not sure how many pages he tore out, but I’m certain my mom would have given me a swat on the ass for each one.
You people have too much time on your hands. Go do something more constructive.
I don’t know, but it sounds like your son has issues.

3 pages. the numbers are the front side and back side of the page.
Five (D)..
3, if my math is correct.
6 pages of the book but 3 pieces of paper.
I don’t know, and I don’t care, but he needs some discipline so that he won’t do it again! If it were a library book, he needs to pay for it!
Looks like the boy needs an ass whoopin
I’m retired. Requires too much thiniking , ask your son.

Why is your son tearing out pages of a book! Books are precious.
5 pages. 7 and 8 are the only ones on one sheet
depends on numbering of pages
5 … Because 1 is the first side of the page meaning odd number is on top and even number is on back, so:
1 on top and 2 on its back of same page = 1 page, which means 7 on top and 8 on back = 1 page
100 (being even number on back) and 101 on the top of another page = 2 pages in total
222 being even number on back side and 223 being odd number on the top of another page = 2 pages.
Total pages = 5
Life was simple before I started to read your comments!
who cares? beat the little b@st@rds @ss for tearing up the book!
Could be 3 or 6 depending on the opening/starting page being on the left or the right!!
What if the book has pictures? Then all of these answers are wrong and it’s inconclusive.
3 because 7,8 are one page, too, 101 are one page and 222 and 2223 are one page
3, each page has two sides
Who cares, the book sucks! The only reason I let him play with it. It was 3 pages!
3 pages work it out 2 sides to every page
