Breaking Bad premiere: Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul preview final season

The stars of Breaking Bad arrived at the LA premiere of the final season in the smoking RV from the show, as there were celebrations to mark the beginning of the end of the show. The final eight episodes are due to air in the US on August 11 and on Netflix in the UK, and according to Bryan Cranston (Walter White), it’s going to be fast-paced.

“This last season of the show is is like a runaway train,” he said, providing a hint as to what fans can expect.

“It just blasts through the stories – not too fast, but not too slow. There is no dilution in this. It is a beautifully crafted eight episodes to bring us to the end.”

His co-stars were displaying a range of emotions on the red carpet as they have come to the end of six awesome years together.

“I do think a lot about it,” said Anna Gunn, who plays Skyler White on the show, Cranston’s on-screen wife.

“We were driving over here in the show’s RV and Bryan made a toast. We are having a lot of moments where we were thinking about that we have been together for 6 years. We have been sharing this time together and we really do adore each other.”

Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman) will look back on the show fondly too.

“It’s incredible,” he said.

“It is a beautiful time, we’re here to celebrate what we did and I am very proud of it.” Report by Mark Morris.
