Well I sure could use the money I gave them to pay my other student loans LOL
I have heard Dave and his minions say many times "but you signed on the dotted line".
Who settle 1.8 billion dollars.
You are basically say that you are guilty.
Scumburgers
No college, no skilled labor. People like to say after the fact that we shouldn’t have taken them out but many of us were unaware, had parents that were unaware and were determined to make it in society. Too bad we can’t go back in time
That’s a drop in a bucket compared to 145B dollar worth of navient assets
Shouldn’t have settled. Should have pursued whatever the law will permit for punishment. Settlements mean you can ruin peoples lives and it’s OK as long as you can afford throw cash at the matter which is wrong, wrong, wrong.
If they are willing to settle for this amount, think about how much they are profiting.
They moved my loans to another loan servicer called aidvantage, is this legal?
Wipe away the debt and make public universities free. Stop the bleeding, and sew up the wound. Start building a better world.
Dang, I was hoping it was going to be a time share company

If they settled for 1.85 billion, imagine how much they stole?
but yet they are allow to continue on doing what they are doing. They should have been shut down. Someone should have ended up in jail.
@1:03. I live for days when Dave calls men “Honey” .
First
So how many hundreds of billions of dollars did they make? Because that’s what the fine should have been
My best friend worked on this case and I never felt so proud.
How much did Dave need to pay?
To clarify, Navient is guilty of predatory lending practices by persuading people to take forbearance vs. a better repayment plan. The forbearance adds additional fees and interest to the loans.
Only a drop in the bucket of the outstanding student loan debt. 1000x this settlement to cover all the bad loans.
LOLOLOLLL..🤣🤣🤣🤣
A billion is a million million – not a thousand million!
I payed $3,500 for my entire BSBA degree in IT Management, from community college to WGU!
Sad to say I think it’s taxable, to the victim. Not sure.
Im blessed to say because of Dave, I never took a student loan. I worked part time while I was a full time college student. Now I am 23 debt free growing my wealth. Thank you Dave!
Oh no! Anyway…
Navient was my student loan company.
Whatever God you believe in has got to find you hysterical
The fine might seem big, however, it’s a "small" price to pay in order to keep their war chest and to stay in the game. All and all, well played.
That’s 9 zeros after the 1st digit.
So glad I paid these clowns off back in 2019, no regrets at all
So they basically got a slap on the wrist. Justice served 🙄
I’m glad I was offered an apprenticeship through work.

Yet another step toward dumping the cost of college education in the lap of tax payers. Free college.
Pretty close to Dave Ramsey’s networth lol
No student loan debt and no car debt equals millionaire
Its easy to judge when your a self loathing millionaire, criticizing toung graduates that are just teying to do better and work with what they have. Universities charge this money and federal regulators let them. Start there and lower the prices.
I don’t know which company it was, but my ex-wife had her student loans dismissed because the loan company gave her the loan when she was 17 and lied on the form when they stated she had a HS diploma when she didn’t.
Are they going to put Navient on a payment plan and make the fine non bankruptable and garnish their wages if they don’t pay it?
My question is – how will we know if our loans are being forgiven?
All of my student loans were through Navient, but recently got switched to another company, I had no idea about any of this!
Doesn’t JP morgan pay nearly half a billion yearly in FTC fines yearly because its more profitable to keep breaking the rules?
